Senior Software Engineer (Scala) - Remote
Salary: Up to £140k (+ Share options)

We are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Scala Developer to join a brilliant team that is a part of one of the fastest growing companies on the mobile-only market. As a Senior Developer on the team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a greenfield product within companies $1B+ travel ecosystem. You'll work alongside a talented and experienced team of developers, designers, and travel industry experts.
What to expect:
• You will build and shape backend tools
• You will be responsible for the integration of systems
• You will monitor and maintain these systems
• You will be enhancing the accuracy of the system through data analysis
• You will create microservices and customer facing tools
• You will work in collaboration with different departments
What we are looking for:
• Experience in full stack or backend engineering (4+ years)
• Proficient in working with functional languages, such as Scala and Java
• Experience working with RESTful API's
• Someone with metrics and reports creation experience
• A knowledge of disturbed systems and how decisions can affect performance
• Experience writing testable code
